A reception Ceremony was held for Bangladesh's Historic Success at the inaugural Asia-Pacific Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (APOAI) 2026 for 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒉 who has secured 3 of the 10 Gold Medals marking a historic milestone for the nation. To celebrate this remarkable achievement, a reception was organized in honor of the team, coach and everyone who contributed to this success. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐀𝐳𝐚𝐦 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫, and a distinguished faculty member of the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 (𝐂𝐈𝐒), was specially recognized for his outstanding contribution as a coach and mentor of Team Bangladesh. We sincerely appreciate his unwavering support and dedication, which have been instrumental in this remarkable achievement and in inspiring the next generation of AI talents in Bangladesh.
The celebration, organized by the Bangladesh Open Source Network (𝐁𝐝𝐎𝐒𝐍) in association with 𝐃𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲, brought together distinguished guests from academia, industry, and the technology community, along with the proud parents whose continuous encouragement and support were invaluable throughout the team's journey.

The Department of Information Technology & Management (ITM), DIU, recently organized an industry visit to Brain Station 23, a leading software development company. This visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the modern software industry.
The informative sessions covered a wide array of critical topics, including current industry trends, the evolving job market, and strategies for adapting to an AI-driven workplace. Furthermore, students gained practical knowledge regarding backend development fundamentals, standard software development practices, mobile application development, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and the growing impact of AI in product development.
Industry visits like these are instrumental in helping ITM students connect academic knowledge with real-world practices. They allow our students to better understand industry expectations and thoroughly prepare themselves for future careers in technology and management.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the team at Brain Station 23 for their warm hospitality and for generously sharing their valuable knowledge and experiences with our students.
