A delegation from the Department of EEE, DIU and DCL HiTech Ltd. visited Ulkasemi, a leading semiconductor design company, to observe their ongoing activities and explore potential areas of collaboration for the future development of the semiconductor industry in Bangladesh.
Both parties discussed possible joint initiatives in training, student engagement, and capacity building to support the growth of a sustainable semiconductor ecosystem in the country.

This visit reflects a shared commitment to advancing semiconductor education, research, and industry collaboration in Bangladesh.
The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Daffodil International University successfully organized the Industry Advisory Panel (IAP) Meeting on 09 May 2026 at the Conference Room, Knowledge Tower, Daffodil Smart City.
The meeting was followed by a Project & Poster Show, where graduating students presented their Capstone Projects before the IAP members and jury panel.
The session was presided over by the respected Head of the Department of EEE, with the presence of all faculty members, including honorable Professors of the department. The meeting focused on strengthening industry-academia collaboration, reviewing Final Year Design (Capstone) Projects, discussing industry-relevant innovations, and exploring opportunities for producing industry-ready graduates.

PhD Research Seminar Successfully Held 
We are delighted to share that the PhD Research Seminar titled “Insights from PhD Research: Outcomes, Academic Impact, and Future Research Opportunities for Faculty and Students” was successfully conducted with active participation from faculty members and students of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Daffodil International University.
The seminar was presented by Dr. Md. Ashraful Haque, Assistant Professor, Department of EEE, who recently completed his PhD from Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP). He shared significant research outcomes, academic contributions, and future research directions in Communication Engineering, particularly in RF & Microwave Antenna, Wave Propagation, and Machine Learning–based Antenna Parameter Prediction.
The program was honored by the gracious presence of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University, as the Chief Guest, whose valuable remarks greatly inspired both faculty members and students. The session was chaired by the Honorable Dean, Faculty of Engineering.
